Our research interests are centered on development of new methodologies towards efficient and sustainable organic synthesis. Currently we are highly interested in catalytic oxidation reactions which represent a type of fundamental transformations. To address problems associated with conventional oxidation methods, for instance, stoichiometric usage of toxic oxidants or organic solvents, we aim to develop novel catalytic protocols to achieve reactions with high efficiency, selectivity and meanwhile minimize the production of harmful side products. Specifically, our strategies include:
